StACCS was developed collaboratively by a large group of colleagues spanning natural and social science, arts and humanities, and different career stages. StACCS is guided by co-directors Dr Ian Lawson and Dr Louise Reid. 

Why STACCS?

Addressing the challenge of sustainability cannot be the pursuit of a single discipline, or indeed of academia alone. It involves acknowledging difference (in worldview, experience, privilege), navigating trade-offs, mediating conflict, and frequently disrupting the status quo. Throughout 2024 we will be developing our collaborations across the University and with our partners to ensure lasting, equitable, reciprocal relationships. More coming about this soon…
