Based across disciplines the University of St Andrews, our members lead informed and critically-engaged research on sustainability that is driven by three shared objectives:

  1. Nurture curiosity-driven research that generates new understandings of sustainability, to ensure the transition to a just and equitable future.
  2. Model equitable and ethical ways of responsible scholarship, driven by collaboration and a commitment to climate justice.
  3. Foster a transdisciplinary research culture, inspiring researchers at all career stages through local to global partnerships with civil society, private sector, and governments.

If you’re interested in the work being done by StACCS and would like to get involved, don’t hesitate to get in touch. Our dedicated team is able to provide its members with tailored support for writing funding proposals, access to networking opportunities, and a platform for sharing and developing their work. By fostering collaboration not only across academic disciplines but also with partners beyond the university, we strengthen the impact and engagement of climate research.
